It's Your Birthday
Cut a card to 5x5. Cut out the “It’s Your Birthday…Go Bananas!” from the Picture Perfect Animal Antics 8x8 Paper Pad. Mat on green print (on the reverse side) leaving 1/8” green borders. Mat again on gold metallic cardstock leaving 1/16” gold borders. Foam tape and mat again onto green with gold bubbles Edge-to-Edge leaving 1/8” green borders. Glue onto the card front leaving 1/8” white borders. From another sheet of the same design, cut out the two monkey faces one with “Go bananas” with the banana. Foam tape over the matching art.
Cut 5x3 white cardstock and score at 1”and 2”. Use Extra Sticky Tape and attach the last inch to the back of the card front. Cut 4 3/4”x 3/4” green with gold bubbles strip and glue onto the front of the step. Mat the monkey and “Have a Chimply Great Day” out of the Paper Pad and on metallic gold cardstock leaving 1/16” gold borders. Foam tape them the bottoms only to the step at a slight angle.
Inside: With 1/2” extra sticky tape secure 5” squares of pink flower Edge-to-Edge cardstock to the top and bottom of the card. Cut out “Hope Your Day is One To Remember” from the Paper Pad. Mat on Gold Metallic Cardstock leaving 1/16” gold borders. Tape onto card at an angle. Trim out the giraffe to be 4”x4 ¾”. Mat onto gold metallic leaving 1/8” gold borders. Trim the giraffe at the bottom so it is at an angle right up to the fold and tape it in place.
