Turtle-y Awesome

Cut white cardstock to 7”x6 1/2”. Place on scoreboard with 7” measurement along the top and score at 1” and 6”. Fold the 1” tabs. Cut a 5”x6 ½” piece of metallic silver cardstock and tape to center leaving the 1” white tabs as borders on the top and bottom. 

From the Brilliant Backgrounds Playful Pals 8x8 paper pad cut a 6 1/2”x3” strip of the ocean paper and tape it centered on the silver cardstock.  Foam tape the bottom two turtle layers from the “Make a Splash” Playful Pals Decoupage Toppers Set in the center. 

Cut 6 1/2”x5 1/8” acetate and with 1/2” extra sticky tape attach under the tabs. Tape two 6 1/2”x1” strips of silver holographic ripple cardstock on top of the tab fronts. Save a turtle layer to be offset to the right side on top of the acetate. Continue foam taping the turtle on top of the acetate. With extra sticky tape place the “Have a Turtle-Y Awesome Day!” Small Topper 2 1/2” from the bottom on the left edge on top of the acetate. 

Orient a blank white card so the fold is at the top. Cover card edges and center with extra sticky glue. Secure the acetate covered aquarium piece onto the card front. 

Inside: Cover inside with tape, lay the ocean area from the front page onto the inside base flush to the fold and one side, trim off the excess. Cut a 2”x5” strip of the silver holographic ripple cardstock and tape 1 1/2” from the left. Cut a 1 1/2”x5” piece of the bubbles piece and tape to the center leaving 1/4” of silver ripple cardstock borders. Build up the Dolphin Decoupage Topper from the other section of the Topper sheet over the center of the strips. Save some pieces to add to the sea bottom and dolphins. Foam tape “It’s Your Birthday Make a Splash” as shown.
