These clear foam squares are perfect for adding dimension and the good thing is they're not too thick and add just the right amount of height for at least the first layer. They're a little tricky to apply, but I found that if I slice or cut the row with the correct amount I'm going to use, then remove all the backing plastic squares at once and stick them to a strip of double sided tape on a scrap paper so they don't go flying everywhere, they're much easier to apply to the project as such and with less cleaning up. Well I hope that makes sense and helps. In conclusion, the project turned out fabulous and I really love these little pop up squares because they're clear.
