Blue Persuasion Pull-Up Window Card
For the card & front: Open the card flat and cut ½" off the right edge of what will be the inside of the card. Close the card. Cut 4½"x6" Blue Persuasion light blue flowered border paper and ink the edges. Mat it on Silver paper with 1/8" borders, then glue the paper centered on the front.
Die cut the Blue Persuasion die from navy Cardstock, then cut off one tile to make the die-cut 4½" long. Glue it to light blue Cardstock and trim the long edges to 1/8" wide. Glue the strip to the front, 1" from the card bottom. Place border Dazzles™ along the upper and lower edges of the strip, trimming the excess.
Remove the Blue Persuasion “enjoy your day” die cut from the sheet and ink the edges. Glue it to the front as shown. Die cut leaf stems from navy and soldier blue cardstock. Die cut flowers from medium blue and light blue cardstock, and from Silver paper.
Glue the leaf stems extending up and down along the right edge of the die-cut. Glue and foam tape flowers over the stems as shown, then add jewel Dazzles™ to the flower centers.
For the inside: Cut 4"x6" Blue Persuasion light blue tiles paper and glue it centered on the inside. Glue the “wishing you a fabulous birthday” die-cut to the center of the paper. Glue navy leaf branches and small flowers curving around the left end and a small flower at the upper right corner of the die-cut. Add jewel Dazzles™ to the flower centers.
Cut 6"x6½" medium blue cardstock and place it with the 6" edges at the top and bottom. Score it ½", 5", and 5½" from the left end. Cut 4"x6" Blue Persuasion light blue double-border paper and glue it centered between the second and third scores. Use just the inner portion of the window die to cut an opening in the center of the panel.
Die cut the window frame (using both dies) from soldier blue cardstock and glue it over the opening in the panel. Glue the “celebrate” die-cut to the panel at the upper left. Glue leaf branches, flowers, and individual leaves to the panel as shown, then add jewel Dazzles™ to the flower centers.
Place Extra Sticky tape on both ends of the scored panel, then crease all the scores in mountain folds then unfold them. Remove the tape backing from just the left end and place it tightly against the center fold of the card, aligning the top and bottom edges. NOTE: the tape will be attached to the back of the card front, this is important. Carefully close the card and press the crease to secure the tape to the inside.
