Start with the bee Color Me™ card topper as your focal with the bee on the left. Use the Spectrum Noir™ pens to color darker greens around the outer edges of the honeycomb area, progressing toward the open area with lighter greens and yellows. Blend the colors as you work. Use a pale green on the lower flourishes. Color in the bee with the pens as shown, using reds/oranges/yellows on the body and yellows/oranges on the wings. Use a touch of green on the eyes, blending into yellow.
Use coordinating colors of the Spectrum Noir™ pencils over the same colors of pen work on the card topper, using a light touch first, then getting progressively heavier until you have a burnished layer of pencil color over the pen work. Pour a small amount of blending solution onto a cosmetic wedge and press the end of a paper stump onto the wedge. Use the damp stump to blend the pencil colors, moving from dark areas to light areas and smoothing line work. Repeat the layering and blending process if necessary to make vibrant colors.
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top and glue your card topper in place. Repeat the coloring process on the “Bee Happy” label and foam tape over the open area. Cut the rhinestones to fit above and below the label, as shown.
Use VersaMark™ to stamp the small bee on white cardstock four times, dust with embossing powder and set with the heat gun. Repeat the coloring process for each bee, being careful not to disturb the embossing with the blending solution and stumps. Cut out each bee and foam tape in place as shown. Cut out tiny rhinestones and place on the antennae and bodies of each bee.
Card inside: Stamp and emboss the bee going off the card as shown. Color around the outer edges with yellows and a little green, blending outward. Cut out tiny rhinestones and place on the antennae and bodies of each bee, and place a trail of rhinestones as shown.
