Joyful Christmas Pop-Up Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the top and cut it to 5"x5". Cut 4 5/8"x4 5/8" Joyful Christmas black plaid cardstock and mat it on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Cut 4¾"x1½" Joyful Christmas red snowflakes cardstock and mat the long edges on red cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue it to the black cardstock 5/8" from the bottom.
Place black Thin Line Dazzles™ near the upper and lower edges of the red strip, trimming the excess. Wrap black gingham ribbon across the red strip near the upper edge and glue the ends to the back.
Insert a 4" gingham ribbon through the hole in the Joyful Christmas “season’s greetings” tag, then foam tape the tag to the black plaid cardstock, ½" from the left edge and near the top. Glue the ribbon ends to the back, then glue the black cardstock centered on the card front.
Make a 4-loop bow with gingham ribbon and tie the center with Jute. Cut a leaf stem to 2" long and glue it just right of the tag. Glue the bow over the stem, then glue a 1" flower to the bow center.
For the inside: Cut 4¼"x8½" Joyful Christmas red snowflakes cardstock and place it horizontally. Score it vertically ½", 1½", 3", and 4" from the left end. Crease all the scores in valley folds. On the back, place sticky tape on the ½" tab, on all four edges of the largest section, and along the folds of the 1" section.
Attach the largest section of the pop-up to the inside front, aligning the fold with the card fold and centering the section on the inside front. Attach the 1" section to the inside back, pressing it in place. Flatten the card open and bring the tab end up. Fold the tab under and press it in place on the inside front cardstock.
Cut 4¼"x2½" Joyful Christmas dotted tan cardstock and place it horizontally. Score it vertically ½" and 1½" from the left end. Crease both scores in mountain folds. Place sticky tape on the front side of the ½" tab. Turn the piece over and place sticky tape along the end of the largest section and 1" from that end.
Adhere the largest section to the inside pop-up along the left edge and where it meets the inside back. Flatten the card open. Fold the ½" tab under and press it in place on the red cardstock. Cut 4¼"x3 5/8" Joyful Christmas dark tan snowflakes cardstock and glue it to the inside back as shown.
