Instructions:
1. For the card’s outer “jacket:” Cut 7"x5" solid dark red cardstock and place it horizontally. Score it vertically ½" from the left end, then fold this tab under. Place sticky tape on the outer surface of the ½" tab. Cut 6½"x5" solid dark red cardstock and attach the tab of the first cardstock, aligning the fold with one end of the second cardstock.
2. Fold the first cardstock over the second, then place the card with the open end on the right. Cut 6¼"x4¾" Sparkling Season blue border cardstock with the border on the bottom. Wrap dotted sheer ribbon over it, 1½" from the right end, and glue the ends to the back. Glue the cardstock centered on the card front.
3. Make a 4-loop bow with the same ribbon and tie the center with thread. Glue the bow over the first ribbon, 1½" from the bottom. Die cut the small holly branch twice from green cardstock and twice from red cardstock. Cut the red berries off the stems and glue them to the berries on the green die-cuts. Glue the branches extending from the bow center as shown. Die cut two red cardstock poinsettias, then stack and glue them together. Glue the flowers to the bow.
4. Foam tape the “sending warm greetings” die cut tag to the front at the upper left. Knot a 3" swirl sheer ribbon and glue the knot over the tag’s hole. On the right edge, measure 2½" from the top and, holding both layers together, punch a hole ¼" in from the edge.
5. For the card’s inner piece: Cut 6"x4¾" dark green cardstock and 5¾"x4½" Sparkling Season stocking border cardstock. Glue the border cardstock centered on the dark green cardstock. Glue the stocking arch cutout to the cardstock ⅝" from the left outer edge. Glue the “spread cheer cutout as shown.
6. Measure ¾" in from the right edge and ¼" up from the bottom in the lower right corner. Punch a hole. Turn the cardstock over. Cut out the large white blank label and glue it to the cardstock, ⅛" from the left end.
7. Turn the inner piece upside down and place it inside the jacket, aligning the upper right corners. While holding it in place, punch the inner piece through the punched holes in the jacket. Insert a tan Embellie through the holes and secure the prongs on the jacket back.
8. Finishing: Pull the inner piece up and attach ⅛" wide grosgrain ribbon to the hole at the upper left (this is the pull “tab”). For the jacket back, cut 6¼"x4½" Sparkling Season holly cardstock and glue it centered on the back, covering the brad prongs.
