Brown & Blue Birthday Card
Card front: Place the card with the fold on the left and cover the front with Gold Ripple. Cut 4¾"x6¼" Kyla’s Tapestry brown paisley paper and glue centered on the front. Cut 1¾"x6¼" Kyla’s Tapestry checked paper and mat the long edges on Kyla’s Tapestry brown cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue vertically, ½" from the right edge.
Cut 4¾"x¾" and place the Kyla’s Tapestry rick rack sticker across the center. Mat the long edges on Kyla’s Tapestry brown cardstock with 1/32" borders, then glue horizontally, 1 1/8" from the bottom. Use the template to trace and cut Exaggerated Star 2 from Kyla’s Tapestry brown/blue striped paper. Mat on Gold Ripple with 1/16" borders, then glue to the front as shown.
Punch out the Kyla’s Tapestry “wish on a star,” “play,” and brown medallion die-cuts and cut off the nibs. Glue the medallion and foam tape the remaining two die-cuts to the star as shown. Make a 4-loop bow with jute and tie the center with 6" of jute. Trim the tails and glue to the die cut cluster as shown.
Card inside: Cut 3½"x5" Kyla’s Tapestry blue paisley paper and mat on Kyla’s Tapestry tan cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue 3/8" from the right edge. Cut 5"x¾" Kyla’s Tapestry checked paper and mat the long edges on Kyla’s Tapestry tan cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue 1 3/8" from the bottom.
Trace and cut Rounded Star 4 from Kyla’s Tapestry brown cardstock and mat on Gold Ripple with 1/16" borders. Punch out Kyla’s Tapestry “birthday Wishes,” paisley corner, and brown medallion die-cuts and cut off the nibs. Glue the star and medallion and foam tape the sentiment and corner as shown. Tie a jute bow and glue at the right end of the sentiment.
