Instructions:
1. For the front: Cut the blank card to 5"x5½" and place it with the fold on the left. Cut 4¾"x5¼" Sweet Pea pink tapestry cardstock with flowers at the lower left. Tear a 2¼"x7" strip of vellum and place it on the cardstock, ¼" from the right edge. Wrap the vellum ends to the back and glue them in place. Wrap pink/black dotted sheer ribbon over the vellum, ½" from the card edge, and glue the ends to the back. Glue the cardstock centered on the card front.
2. Cut out the “hello sunshine” greeting and foam tape it to the front as shown. Make a 4-loop bow with the same ribbon and tie the center with baker’s twine. Trim the twine ends, then glue the bow to the first ribbon as shown.
3. Die cut the sweet pea stems from green cardstock and ink the edges with Pine Tree ink. Die cut the blossoms from dark pink cardstock and ink the edges with Plum Jam. Glue the blossoms to the stems, then foam tape the blossoms and glue the leaves and stems to the front as shown.
4. Die cut the 2" butterfly base from vellum and the matching topper butterfly from Glitter cardstock. Ink both with Plum Jam, then glue just the bodies together, aligning the edges. Foam tape the butterfly to the front as shown. Attach a diamond sparkle to the bow center and one to the butterfly.
5. For the inside: Die cut the tri-fold card from Sweet Pea tapestry cardstock, then flip the card over so the panels are opposite how they’re shown in the illustration on the die package. Fold the two left scores in valley folds and the two right scores in mountain folds. Place it with the 4½" wide panel on top, then trim off the excess ½" on the left side, creating a 4½"x5" card.
6. Use sticky tape to attach the tri-fold card inside the white card, aligning the right edges so the die-cut pulls out to the right. Cut two ¾"x5" Sweet Pea pink striped cardstocks and mat the long edges of each on pink cardstock with ⅛" borders. Glue one near the tri-fold’s right front edge. Glue the second next to the white card’s fold, overlapping the tri-fold’s left edge.
7. Cut out the “sending sweet thoughts…” and the sweet pea square cutouts. Glue the sentiment across the tri-fold’s lower front and foam tape the sweet pea square above it as shown. Die cut a small sweet pea stem and blossom as before and ink both. Glue the blossom to the stem, then glue the flower along the right tri-fold edge as shown. Die cut a 1½" butterfly base from vellum and its topper from Glitter cardstock. Ink both, glue them together, then foam tape it above the sweet pea cutout.
8. Pull out the tri-fold. Glue the “sweet friendship…” cutout as shown. Die cut the large sweet pea stem and the blossoms as before and ink the edges. Glue the blossoms to the stem, then glue the stem to the inside as shown. Die cut the 2" and 1½" butterfly layers as before, ink them and glue the layers together. Glue the butterflies to the inner panel as shown, then place diamond sparkles on all the butterfly bodies.
