A Nesting Place Window Pop-Up Thank You Card
For the card: Open one card, then cut ½" off the right edge. Cut 4"x5¾" A Nesting Place green textured cardstock and glue it centered on the inside right panel. Position the 3 3/8"x4" die in the center of this panel and die cut the window. Set this card aside for now.
Open the second card and score ½" from the left edge. Cut 4"x5¾" A Nesting Place green textured cardstock with the flowers along the right edge and glue it centered on the inside left panel. Center the same rectangle die on this panel and die cut the window.
Fold the ½" wide tab on the second card back in a mountain fold and place double-sided tape on the outer surface. Adhere this tab to the back of the first card, aligning the tab’s fold along the right edge. (The window panels will be side-by-side in the card’s center.) Close the card.
For the card front: Cut 4¾"x6¼" A Nesting Place brown birdhouse cardstock with the bird at the right. Wrap two lengths of lime green jute across the cardstock, 7/8" from the bottom, and secure the ends on the back. Glue the cardstock centered on the front. Cut two 4" lengths of lime jute, hold together, and tie them onto the first jute, 1 3/8" from the right card edge.
Die cut 2 3/8"x2" rectangle from A Nesting Place green textured cardstock and 2 5/8"x2¼" scalloped rectangle from dark green cardstock. Stack and glue them together to make a label, then place white “sending warm thoughts” Dazzles™ on it. Foam tape the label at the upper left.
For the inside: Cut two 4½"x5¾" A Nesting Place boards cardstocks, one with the nest at the upper left. Place border Dazzles™ near the left edge of the nest cardstock, trimming the excess, then glue it centered on the inside left panel.
Place border Dazzles™ near the right edge of the remaining boards cardstock, trimming the excess, then glue it centered on the inside right panel. Die cut two dark green cardstock frames placing the 3 3/8"x4" rectangle die inside the 3¾"x4½" scalloped rectangle die. Glue a frame around each window.
Cut 12"x4" dark green cardstock and, starting at the left end, score it at ½", 2", 6", 10", and 11½". Crease the center score in a valley fold and all the others in mountain folds. Cut two 3¾"x3 7/8" A Nesting Place yellow/green flourishes cardstock and glue them centered on the middle panels.
Cut two 1 3/8"x3 7/8" A Nesting Place wood grain cardstocks. Place border Dazzles™ along one edge of each, then glue them centered on the two side panels. Place double-sided tape on the tabs on each end of the green cardstock.
1Insert the green cardstock through both windows. Remove the tape backing from the right tab. With the tab folded under, center the cardstock through the openings and attach the tab to the right inside panel, 2¼" from the right edge.
1Fold the green cardstock and bring the center sections of the card base together. Unfold the remaining tab and remove the tape backing. Carefully close the card over the exposed tape and press to secure. Open the card—the green cardstock should swing freely through the windows.
