Fabulous Florals – Rose Birthday Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold at the top. Cut 6 3/8"x4 7/8" Rose single border cardstock. Wrap a 7" length of 3/8" wide swirl sheer ribbon across the lower tan border and glue the ends to the back. Glue the cardstock centered on the card front.
Remove the Rose bouquet tag from the pad, then trim it to 2¼"x2¼". Mat it on Gold paper with 1/16" borders, then glue it to the front at the upper left. Punch out the two Rose die-cuts shown from the sheets in the kit and foam tape both at the upper left as shown.
Make a 4-loop bow with the same ribbon and tie the center with thread. Glue it to the first ribbon near the right card edge. Glue a 1½" pink posie just above the bow center with two ¾" posies tucked under the flower edges as shown. Glue three leaves spaced around the posie cluster.
For the inside: Cut 6"x4½" Rose cardstock, cutting a single border panel from the double border cardstock. Mat it on Gold paper with 1/16" borders. Remove the blue birthday tag from the pad and thread a 7" length of swirl sheer ribbon through the tag’s hole.
