Sweet Pea Accordion Pop-Out Card
For the card front: Cut 4¾"x6¼" Sweet Pea black floral cardstock. Cut 1¾"x6¼" Sweet Pea pink striped cardstock and ¼"x6¼" Black shimmer cardstock. Glue the shimmer strip to the striped cardstock, ¼" from the left edge. Mat the left long edge of the striped piece on pink cardstock with a 1/8" border, then glue the striped cardstock to the black floral cardstock, aligning the right edges. Glue the cardstock centered on the card front.
Cut out the “sending sweet thoughts” banner. Wrap a ¼" wide sheer pink ribbon around the left end, knot it on the front, and trim the ends. Glue the banner across the lower front, extending slightly off the right edge.
Die cut both flower stems from green cardstock and the matching blossoms from pink cardstock. Ink the edges of the leaves and stems with Grasshopper and the blossoms with Plum Jam. Glue the blossoms to the stems. Cut out the “hello sunshine” label and place foam tape on the back. Glue the flowers and attach the label to the front as shown.
For the inside: Cut 12"x6" Sweet Pea green floral cardstock with the black ribbon border along the bottom. Starting at the left end, score it at 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8", and 9". Accordion-fold the scores, beginning and ending with valley folds and keeping the edges aligned. Turn the scored cardstock face down and place 2-sided tape along the edges of the two large outer panels.
Close the scored piece on the folds. Remove the tape backing from the right end section and position it on the card inside with ¼" border on the top, bottom, and right edges. Press it in place. Remove the tape backing from the remaining panel. Hold the folded piece in place as you carefully close the card front, pressing to adhere the tape to the inside.
Cut out the “sending sweet thoughts” banner. Wrap a ¼" wide sheer pink ribbon around the left end, knot it on the front, and trim the ends. Glue the banner across the lower front, extending slightly off the right edge.
