Beautiful Butterflies Embossed Birthday Card
For the card front: Place the card with the fold on the left. Cut 5"x7" white cardstock and place it in the Beautiful Butterflies embossing folder. Emboss the cardstock, then trim it to 4 5/8"x6 1/8". Use the smallest blender brush to lightly brush Damson Wine ink just over the two butterflies. :ightly brush Plum Jam ink over the remainder of the embossed cardstock.
Mat the embossed panel on pink cardstock with 1/8" borders. Wrap a 6" light pink crepe ribbon across the panel, 2" from the top, and glue the ends to the back. Glue the panel centered on the card front. Punch out the 2¾"x3¼" Beautiful Butterflies pink floral label and foam tape it to the front, covering the embossed oval area.
Cut out the Beautiful Butterflies “it’s your day” label and mat it on white cardstock with 1/16" borders, then on pink cardstock with 1/8" borders. Glue it to the floral label as shown. Punch out a Beautiful Butterflies small pink and a small ivory rose and foam tape them over the left end of the sentiment.
Make a 4-loop bow with the pink crepe ribbon and tie the center with thread. Use double-sided tape to attach the bow to the first ribbon, overlapping the floral label at the left. Place Diamond Sparkles on the butterflies’ bodies and a large sparkle on the bow center.
For the inside: Cut and emboss another white cardstock panel as for the front. Trim the panel to 4 3/8"x5 5/8", then brush Plum Jam ink just on the large butterfly. Mat the panel on pink cardstock with 1/8" borders and glue the panel to the inside center.
