Everlasting Memories Gatefold Birthday Card
For the card front: Open the card, then bring the sides in to meet at the middle and crease, creating a gatefold card. Cut 4 7/8"x6 3/8" Everlasting Memories pink roses paper, then cut it in half vertically. Glue the papers to the front panels so they meet at the center front.
Cut the Everlasting Memories roses border topper into four 2 3/8" lengths. Glue two to each front panel, one near the upper edge and one near the lower edge. Place gold scalloped thin line Dazzles™ above and below each border section, trimming the excess.
Glue the Everlasting Memories 2½"x2¾" girl topper centered on the upper front, 1 1/8" from the top, gluing it just to the left front panel. Foam tape the “thinking of you” sentiment below it, again attaching it just to the left panel. Glue a ¾" pink posie and small leaf as shown.
Die cut two butterflies from Gold paper. Glue the body of one on top of the other, then glue it at the lower right as shown. Attach Diamond Sparkles to the body, then gently fold up the top wings.
For the front flap: Die cut the Elegance die from Everlasting Memories green cardstock, then trim it out with 3/8"-½" extra along the angled edge. Score the die-cut near the angled edge to create a tab. Fold the tab under, then place it along the upper back, wrapping the die-cut over the front of the card and centering the point on the gatefold’s panel edges. Don’t glue it yet. Mark and trim the excess from the die-cut along the card edges.
Glue Gold paper behind the lacy area of the die-cut, trimming along the straight side edges and near the lower curvy edges. Place Extra Sticky tape on the card’s top back edge. Attach the die-cut’s tab to the card top back, wrapping the die-cut to the front. Wrap pink crepe ribbon around the flap, 1" from the card top, and tie it 1½" from the left edge to secure. Trim the ribbon tails.
Foam tape the Everlasting Memories “on your birthday” sentiment to the front flap so it completely covers the toppers on the card front. Make a 4-loop bow with the same ribbon and glue it over the knot. Glue a 1¼" pink posie and small leaf over the bow center. Glue a ¾" pink posie and small leaf to the topper as shown.
