Instructions:
1. For the card: Open the card and cut 2½" off the right front edge. Score it ½" from the right edge. On the score line, measure 1¼" from the top and the bottom edges and mark both. Cut along the score to these marks, then cut out to the edge, creating a shortened tab. Place sticky tape on the remaining tab, fold it under, then unfold it.
2. Cut 1¾"x 6¼" Flower Queen yellow textured cardstock, ink the edges with Warm Honey, and glue it centered on the narrow front panel. Open the card. Cut another 1¾"x6¼" yellow patterned cardstock as for the front, ink the edges, and glue it to the inside left panel. Cut 4¾"x6¼" yellow textured cardstock, ink the edges as before, and glue it to the inside right panel. Close the card.
3. Cut 8"x5" Flower Queen white border cardstock with the light border along the bottom. Score it 4" and 6" from the left end, then crease the 4" score in a mountain fold and the 6" score in a valley fold. Ink all the edges with Warm Honey.
4. Remove the tape backing from the tab on the card front panel. With the scored cardstock folded, center it on the card, then press it in place to attach the front panel to the tab. Place sticky tape on the back of the folded cardstock’s third panel. Close the card and the scored cardstock to adhere the panel to the card’s right inside panel.
5. Press the Warm Honey, Pear Green, Holly Green, and Khaki ink pads onto the craft mat, then spritz them with water. Use the handle of a blending brush to mix the inks together a bit, then press 5"x8" white cardstock into the ink and let it soak up the ink. Repeat until the cardstock is completely covered with ink. Let the cardstock dry completely. Repeat with two more 5"x8" white cardstocks, using Lipstick, Lovely Lilac, and Orchid for one and Warm Honey, Peachy, and Tiger Orange for the second.
6. For the front: Die cut the tulips and leaf branches from the green inked cardstock. Die cut tulips and the small trumpet flower blossom from the pink inked cardstock. Die cut the small blossoms from the peach cardstock. Cut the blossoms off the pink tulips and glue them over the green tulip blossoms. Glue the branches, flowers, and small blossoms to the front panel as shown.
7. Foam tape the “happy birthday” die-cut to the front at the upper right, then glue a tulip and small blossom at the right end as shown. Die cut three butterflies from the Lilac Mirri and glue them to the front as shown.
8. For the inside: Glue the “live life…” tag die-cut to the second panel, then glue a peach flower over the tag hole. Glue a leaf branch more flower die-cuts to the last panel as shown. Die cut a Mirri butterfly and glue it above the flowers.
