Snow Days Page
Start with Santa Plaid paper as your background. Mat a 3 1/2”x3” photo on red cardstock with a 1/8” border, then on natural cardstock with a 1/16” border. Mat a 5 1/2”x4” photo on natural cardstock with a 1/16” border, then on red cardstock with a 1/8” border. Ink the edges of each matted photo and glue as shown. Mat a 1 1/2”x2” photo on red cardstock with a 1/8” border, then on natural cardstock with a 1/8” border, ink the edges and foam tape as shown.
Follow the template instructions to create a Comet Layer-1 snowflake from natural cardstock. Create a Comet Layer-1 snowflake from green plaid paper, a Comet Layer-2 snowflake from Vellum and a Comet Layer-3 from red cardstock. Ink all edges and foam tape, stacked on center, as shown.
Create a Comet Layer-2 snowflake from natural cardstock without the small slits on the sides. Unfold and journal “Snow Days!” on the center. Ink the edges and glue in place, as shown.
Journal the sentiment on a 4”x1” natural cardstock, ink the edges, mat on green plaid with a 1/8” border, ink the edges again and foam tape in place.
Trace and cut out two Dasher Layer-3 snowflakes from green plaid and two Blitzen Layer-3 snowflakes from red cardstock. Ink the edges and foam tape in place over the two lower yellow stars paper artwork. Apply Gold Stickles on the stars, snowflakes and photo corners, as shown. Let dry.
