Winter Deer Birthday Card

Instructions:

1. For the card: Follow the Basic Crosshatch dies package directions to die cut the backdrop and all the crossbars from Nature’s Touch brown leaves cardstock. Ink the edges of all the pieces, front and back, with Cocoa Bean. Assemble the card as the packaging directs.

2. For the front: Die cut the triangular trees from green leaves cardstock and from the solid green cardstocks for a total of five trees. Ink the edges of the lighter green tree with Khaki and all the dark green trees with Concrete. Glue the “thinking of you” die-cut to the backdrop at the upper left, then glue and foam tape four trees to the backdrop as shown.

3. Die cut both deer from solid dark brown cardstock and ink the edges with Concrete. Glue the doe to the backdrop near the right edge. Die cut a bird from solid blue cardstock and glue it above the greeting.

4. Glue the remaining tree to the middle crossbar near the left end and the stag to the front crossbar as shown. Die cut a rabbit from tan cardstock, ink the edges with Cocoa Bean, and foam tape it to the front crossbar on the right.

5. For the back: Cut out the “happy birthday” cutout and glue it to the back as shown.
