Wish Card
Die cutting: Tape the cutting die centered on a 6” violet suede square, place it in the appropriate “sandwich” for your machine and run it through. Do not remove the tape. Embossing: Place the embossing mat on top of the suede and run it through your machine to emboss. Remove the tape and trim the outer edges evenly.
Card front: Cut a 6”x12” ivory cardstock. Score in half and fold on the scored line for a 6” square card. Place with the fold at the top. Cover the card with hammered gold paper. Foam tape the violet suede die-cut/embossed square centered on the card, and glue the circle on the center. Paint the Gold Smooch® ink onto some of the embossed areas of the design of the violet suede square and inner circle. Let dry thoroughly.
Place “Wish” centered on the violet suede circle. Place the Gold Butterflies Dazzles™ large butterfly on remaining ivory cardstock and trim closely around the edges. Lightly fold the wings together on each side of the body. Foam tape the body near the upper left corner of the card. Zot™ the flowers in a cluster near the bottom of the card. Use gold crepe ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ in place near the flowers as shown.
Inside: Cut a 6”x1/2” violet suede strip and mat on hammered gold with 1/16” borders. Glue centered across the card. Back the Gold Butterflies Dazzles™ label shape with violet suede, trimming edges evenly. Glue centered on the strip. Back a small butterfly on ivory cardstock and lightly fold the wings together. Place the backed butterfly overlapping the butterfly image on the label and glue the body in place. Place “Happy Birthday” Dazzles™ centered inside the label.
