Card base and inside: Cut 7”x7¼” burgundy needlepoint cardstock, keeping the gold snowflakes at the top and bottom, as shown. Pop out the fancy label Santa and surrounding pieces from the “Christmas Eve” die-cut sheet and foam tape the Santa die-cut centered on the cardstock. Glue the gold label border die-cut around the foam-taped die-cut. Glue the straight gold border die-cut just above the lower gold snowflake border of the cardstock, trimming even with the sides. Foam tape the oval “Merry Christmas” label centered ½” from the top. Foam tape 1¼” strips of the gold border die-cut at each side of the label with a “V” cut in the ends.
Card front: Score ½” from the right and left sides of 8”x7¼” heat resistant acetate and mountain fold along the score lines, folding the side strips under. Swipe the edges of the acetate with VersaMark™ and dust with Gold Ultra High embossing powder, letting some of the powder sprinkle randomly across the acetate. Heat set the powder with the heat gun. Cut the acetate in half vertically (3½” from each side). Place Ultra Clear Tape on the back of the right and left sides of the cardstock and press the acetate side flaps onto the back of the cardstock, creating a gatefolded acetate card front.
With the acetate “gates” folded closed, use Ultra Clear Tape to attach the four corner die-cuts in place, matching up the inner edges with the edges of the gold label border die-cut (seen through the acetate on the inside of your card). Ultra Clear Tape the oval “Season’s Greetings” label onto the left acetate panel only, centered over the inside label above. Use Ultra Clear Tape to attach two lengths of ivory crepe ribbon centered behind the right and left edges of your card and tie in a large bow at the center, cutting the ends in a “V”.
