Nature’s Touch Hello Fall Card

Instructions:

1. For the card front: Place a card with the fold on the left. Cut 4½"x6" Nature’s Touch gold border cardstock with the trees in the lower right corner and mat it on rust cardstock with ⅛" borders. Glue it centered on the card front. 

2. Remove the chipboard pieces from the backing. Press Velvet Fawn, Earth Red, and Cocoa Bean inks onto the craft mat next to each other. Spritz water onto the inks, then use a pencil or stir stick to stir the colors and water together. Press the fawn into the inks repeatedly until he’s covered with ink. Set him aside to dry. Press “hello” and “fall” and the acorns into the same inks and set them aside to dry.

3. Use the same method of inking for the leaves and acorns. Use Khaki, Pear Green, and Teal for the green leaves. Use Roasted Pumpkin, Orchid, Earth Red, Tiger Orange, and Warm Honey for the remaining leaves. Set aside the remaining chipboard pieces.

4. Once the chipboard pieces are dry, press them onto the VersaMark™ ink pad until they’re covered in ink. Cover them with embossing powder, tap off the excess, and use the heat gun to melt the remaining powder. Glue all the chipboard pieces to the front as shown.

5. For the inside: Cut 4¼"x6" Nature’s Touch berries cardstock and glue it centered on the inside. Cut 5"x¾" Nature’s Touch light yellow leaves cardstock and mat the long edges on dark brown cardstock with ⅛" borders. Glue it across the inside, ½" from the bottom. 

6. Using the same smooshing technique as for the front, ink the “very thankful” chipboard and the tall tree’s trunk with the brown ink combination. Ink the tree leaves and the second tree with the Warm Honey, Khaki, and Pear Green inks. Emboss them as before. Mat the “just for you” cutout on dark brown cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue the chipboard pieces and the sentiment to the inside as shown.
