Seasonal Splendor Gatefold Pop-Up Card
For the card & front: With the card opened flat, fold the sides in to meet at the center, creating a gatefold card. Cut 4¾"x6¼" Seasonal Splendor gold floral cardstock with the flowers in the lower left corner, then cut it in half vertically, creating two 2 3/8"x6¼" panels. Glue them to the card’s front panels so they meet up at the center.
Place gold border Dazzles™ along the upper and lower edges of the floral cardstock, trimming the excess. Cut out the green rectangular label shown and mat it on yellow cardstock with 1/8" borders. Mat it again on dark green cardstock with ¼" borders, then place gold “thinking of you” and flower Dazzles™ on it.
Glue the greeting just to the left panel, centering it on the card. Decorate the flower and border Dazzles™ with copper jewel Dazzles™.
For the inside: Cut 4¾"x6¼" Seasonal Splendor burgundy floral cardstock with flowers at the upper right and glue it centered on the inside. Place gold border Dazzles™ near the side edges of the floral cardstock, trimming the excess. Place brown “missing our time together” Dazzles™ across the center of the cardstock.
Cut two 5¼"x1" strips of burgundy cardstock. Place one horizontally, then score it at 1", 2", and 4¼" from the left end. Repeat for the second strip. Crease all the scores in mountain folds, then place sticky tape on the outer end sections of each strip.
On one strip, remove the tape backing from the end closest to the 4½" score and align the end edge against the left card fold, 1 1/8" from the top. Close the left card front over it, securing the sticky tape to the inside front. Remove the tape backing from the other end of the same strip. Fold the strip on the 2" score line, then close the left card front again, flattening the strip against the inside and adhering it to the center section.
Repeat step 5 with the remaining strip, this time securing it 1 1/8" from the card bottom and against the right front panel as shown.
