Just for You Butterfly Card
Card front: Cut a piece of silver mirror sheet to fit the card front. Place it on scrap paper. Cut another piece of silver mirror about 4"x4". Place the butterfly stencil on the card-sized piece of mirror material, positioned so that the large butterfly is tilted and going off the right edge of the card as shown. Secure with stencil tape. On your craft sheet scoop about a tablespoon of Glass Bead Glitter Gel into a pile with a palette knife. Spray the gel with Calypso Teal Dylusions a couple times. Mix well with the palette knife. Wipe the palette knife clean. Repeat the process with another separate pile on your craft sheet, this time using Funky Fuchsia Dylusions spray. Wipe off your palette knife. Scoop up the fuchsia gel with the plastic squeegee and scrape it over the butterfly body and antennae, covering the center area. Wipe the squeegee clean with the paper towel. Scoop up the teal gel and spread it over the wings of the butterfly, eventually meeting the fuschia gel near the center, mixing them slightly. This will give your butterfly the blended rainbow look. Remove the stencil and place the small butterfly on the 4"x4" piece of mirror material, securing with stencil tape if needed. Scrape the remaining glitter gel through the stencil. Remove the stencil and wash in soap and water immediately. Let the gel dry overnight.
Peel the backing off the large butterfly piece and apply it onto the front of your card, covering the card. Cut out the small butterfly and apply it to the upper left as shown. Use Zips™ to secure a length of pink glitter ribbon across the card, 1/2" from the bottom. Die cut a 1 1/4" circle from white cardstock and stamp "Just for You" in the center with black StazOn®. Die cut a 1 5/8” scalloped circle from Unforgettable pink floral paper. Foam tape the greeting to the pink circle, and then foam tape to the bottom left of the card over the ribbon. Zot™ a small pink glitter bow to the top of the greeting as shown.
Card inside: Glue 5"x3" of Unforgettable pink floral paper across the inside, 1" from the bottom. Apply narrow 1/4" wide strips of silver mirror material across the top and bottom of the pink piece. Stamp the large butterfly image in black on the lower right of the pink piece.
