Happy Birthday Card
Front: Cut aqua cardstock to 5 7/8”x4 1/2” and using stencil tape, secure the large butterfly stencil over the cardstock at an angle. Use the stylus and pad to apply VersaMark™ over the stencil image. Remove the stencil and sprinkle Rose embossing powder to the center of the butterfly and tap off the excess. Sprinkle lavender powder to the center of the wings. Tap off the excess. Finally sprinkle Powder embossing powder onto the wing outer edges. Heat set. Mat the aqua rectangle with lavender cardstock, leaving 1/8” border. Place a card with the fold at the top and glue the matted image to the card center.
Stencil and emboss another large butterfly image on teal cardstock and cut out the body and wings, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue over the butterfly on the cardstock rectangle, placing foam tape under the wings for lift. Place a length of Purple Jewel Border Dazzles™ near the top of the card as shown. Cut a “V” shape in one end of 1 3/4”x5/8” lavender cardstock and stamp “For Someone Special” and heat emboss with Rose embossing powder. Glue to the lower left side of the card as shown.
Inside: Secure the small butterfly stencil to 2 1/8” square of aqua cardstock and apply VersaMark™ using the stylus and pad. Remove the stencil and color with embossing powders as in step 1. Heat set. Foam tape the square to the left side of 5 3/4”x2 3/8” lavender cardstock. Stamp and Rose-emboss “Happy Birthday to You” on the right side of the lavender cardstock. Place lengths of Purple Jewel Border Dazzles™ to the aqua square and right end of lavender rectangle as shown. Glue to the card center.
