Card front: Place your card with the fold on the top. Cut your card to a 5" square. Cut four 5" x 1/2" strips of gold mirror. Peel them off and place them along the four sides of the card. Cut a 4 1/4" square of Heat Resistant Acetate and rinse under water. Pat dry with paper towels (don't rub). Once dry, stamp and emboss the greeting in the center using VersaMark™ ink and Zing! Red Glitter Embossing Powder. Set aside.
Following are some tips for cutting through the mirror sheets. Since every die-cutting machine is different, you will need to experiment a bit to find what combination of mats/plates will allow you to cut through the mirror sheets, which is a plastic-like material. I've found that I need a rigid surface (metal) on both sides of the die to cut all the way through. I used the die and the mirror sheet sandwiched between two thin, lightweight metal sheets, which was then sandwiched between my cutting platform and top cutting mat. Cut out 2 gold large flourishes, 2 gold small flourishes, and 1 red frame (save the inner shape of the red frame for the inside). Peel off the red frame and carefully place it on green mirror. Cut out. Use a craft knife to carefully cut out the inner shape. Glue the inner shape to the center of the card. (For large areas of mirror material: If you glue it with glue stick, it will create a smoother look than if you were to peel and stick). Use Zots™ or Zips™ to glue the acetate to the red/green frame. Cut off any excess acetate. Apply thin strips of foam tape around the edges of the acetate and carefully place the whole piece centered on the card. Peel and stick the gold flourishes around the frame as shown.
Card inside: Cut a gold mirror frame. Cut 4 green mirror small flourishes. Glue the gold frame centered (I found it easier to glue this with glue stick rather than try to get it straight by peeling and sticking because the mirror material is very thin and wiggly). Glue the inner frame shape from the red frame to the center. Stamp the sentiment in the center with Jet Black StazOn®. Peel and place the 4 green flourishes as shown.
