Happy Day Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover the card with Unforgettable teal patterned paper. Punch out the round pink lace die-cut from the Unforgettable Die-Cuts. Cut a 3 1/2" square of the Heat Resistant Acetate, rinse under water, and pat dry with paper towels (this helps prevent static). Place it on top of the die-cut and trace around the circular opening with a permanent fine-tip pen, keeping to the outside of the circular hole about 1/4" Cut out around your traced line. Stamp "What a Happy Day" and 2 butterflies in the center of the acetate circle with VersaMark™ and emboss using Zing! Leaf Embossing Powder. Use Hydrangea Liquid Pearls™ to add purple bodies to the 2 tiny butterflies. Let dry. Trace the acetate circle onto Unforgettable plum paper and cut out. Glue the plum circle to the card centered 1 1/4" from the top. Use several Zots™ to glue the acetate to the underside of the lacy circle die-cut, centering the greeting. Place foam tape along the sides of the die-cut circle and adhere to the card centered over the plum circle. Glue 1/2" wide pink grosgrain ribbon across the bottom, 1" from the bottom. Trim edges. Tie a bow with the same ribbon and glue to the left of the horizontal ribbon as shown.
Use the Flower Frenzy Cutting Dies to cut out a variety of flower shapes and sizes and a variety of leaves as shown. Back all the evacuated leaves with complimentary green paper, using the included small leaf dies. Arrange the smaller flowers on top of the larger ones as shown, using foam tape in between the layers. Once your flowers are assembled, arrange your leaves on the top left and bottom right of the lace circle and glue down. Use foam tape to glue the flowers down as shown. For the flower centers, squeeze the following onto the centers in a fairly large dot: Waterfall Stickles&trade,; Thistle Stickles&trade,; and Hydrangea Liquid Pearls™. Let dry overnight.
For the inside: Cover the inside with Unforgettable light green paper. Cut a 5" x 3" piece of Unforgettable pink paper and mat on Unforgettable olive green, leaving a 1/4" border along the top and bottom. Cut out two flowers and leaves in the papers as shown and glue and foam tape them to the lower right of the pink piece. Foam tape a die-cut butterfly in the upper left.
