Sending You a Warm Hug card 5”x6 ½” Half Kite plus border tea bag folding card

    1. Cover the card with blue/teal ocean Sealife Stained Glass 12x12 Cardstock. Place a blue thin line Dazzles™ in the center of some of the sections.

    6. Cut eight sapphire glossy 1 ½” squares. Fold one square diagonally then unfold. Fold each side piece beginning at a bottom point and bringing the section to the fold. Repeat on the other side. That is one kite. Repeat on the other squares.

    2. To make a half kite, turn the piece over and bring the point to the top and fold. Repeat on each piece. 

    3. Cut 1 ½” square of the starstruck. Zot™ each half kite as shown slightly overlapping the previous kite. At the end, lift the first piece and overlap the last one. Glue the piece to the card. Place “Hello” tiny words & phrases Dazzles™ in the center.

    4. Place the cutout “Sending you a warm hug” on the craft mat. Use a blender brush to apply royal blue ink to the edges. Glue to the card tucked under the tea bag folded piece.

    5. Border: Cut eight ¾” wide squares of turquoise starstruck. I found it easier to begin with a strip 1 ½”x12” then cut the strip in half to ¾” wide. I overlapped the strips and cut off ¾” squares (see the webisode). 

    6. Fold each piece into a kite. Repeat with four ¾” square of Sapphire Glossy. 

    7. Cut four ¼” squares of cardstock. Zot™ the tips of two starstruck to each square. Glue the squares as shown along the left side of the card. Glue the glossy kites as shown.
