Do Something Every Day…
Cut the card into a 5” square and cover with black cardstock. Glue 4 3/4” square of Rosemary & Thyme black houndstooth paper to the center. Stamp Simply Susan loopy border around inked edges of 3 1/2” square of Rosemary & Thyme aqua paper and glue on point as shown.
Die Cut Circles & Scallops 3 3/4” scalloped circle from red cardstock. Ink edges and glue as shown. Stamp Simply Susan “Do something Every Day…” greeting to the center of Circles & Scallops 3 1/4” white cardstock circle. Ink edges and 121 red and 155 blue watercolor pencils to color in 2 letters. Use 168 green to color around greeting. Use damp paintbrush to apply water to the colored areas. Let dry and glue circle as shown.
Stamp and emboss the Simply Susan large and small stamps and color flowers with 121 red and 155 blue watercolor pencils as shown. Color leaves 168 green. Brush with water to blend colors and let dry. Add Red Jewel Dazzles™ to the centers of small blue flowers and berry stems. Cut around stamped images and foam tape to lower left and upper right circle edges. Cut 1 1/2” lengths of red dot ribbon and glue to extend from under flowers as shown.
Inside: Stamp the card top and bottom with Simply Susan loopy border. Stamp and emboss a small flower cluster at the bottom right. Color as before with watercolor pencils, brush with water, let dry and embellish with Jewel Dazzles™.
