Happy Thoughts Card
Card front: Cut Silky Papers cardstock to 4 1/2”x6” and randomly stamp Simply Susan large and small single blossoms and the small butterfly stamp. Mat with black cardstock, leaving 1/8” wide border and glue to card with fold at the side, covered with aqua cardstock.
Border: Stamp long edges of 5”x1 1/4” aqua cardstock with Simply Susan swirly border stamp using Black ink. Stamp the greeting “Happy Thoughts” starting 1 3/4” from the left side of the border. Stamp the flower from the “happy” word on Ultra Smooth White Cardstock using Black Memento ink pad and let dry. Color flower LV2, leaves DG2 and flower center BT5. Cut out and foam tape over original stamped flower. Mat the aqua border with white cardstock, leaving 1/8” border and Simply Susan black dot paper, leaving 1/4” borders. Glue across the card center.
Stamp Simply Susan large blossom with leaves and single large blossom onto Ultra Smooth White Cardstock using Black Memento ink. Let dry. Color the large blossom with BT5 turquoise and leaves using both DG2 & DG4 green pens. Color the smaller blossom with BT5 & BT2 turquoise and LV2 purple pen. Cut out pieces as shown. Foam tape the small blossom to the center of the large.
Inside: Stamp lavender blossoms and butterflies on the top 1 1/4” of the card inside back. Cover the remaining card with Simply Susan purple dot paper. Glue 5”x3/8” Simply Susan black dot paper across the top edge of the purple dot paper. Stamp Simply Susan “Do Something Every Day…” greeting in black ink at the card center. Stamp the large blossom with leaves extending off the right card edge. Stamp large single blossom on Ultra Smooth White cardstock and color with pens as before. Cut out and glue to the center of the large stamped blossom. Trim even with card edge.
