Home for the Holidays Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top. Cover with Warm Flannel blue pattern paper. Glue a 6½”x2½” Warm Flannel blue snowflake paper 1” from the bottom. Glue a 6½”x 1” Warm Flannel brown snowflake paper to the bottom. Ink the edges with French Blue Fluid Chalk ink. Sponge some ink in the top “sky”.
Stamp three houses, four fir trees, two fences, one topiary Christmas Tree, one car, and one Santa and sleigh all in black ink, on white cardstock. Color each as follows: Houses-GB4, LG3, TN5, BG5, BG3, GB1, PP4, TB4, CG4, CR8, Car-GB1, GG2, CG4, TN3, Trees-CG4, LG4, Fences- CG4, LG4, Topiary tree-LG4, CR8, Santa and sleigh- Use the smallest circle cutting die to cut a circle in a scrap of cardstock. Place the hole over the middle of the reindeer, and fill with Harvest Fluid Chalk ink, creating a moon behind the deer. Ink the santa and deer not in the circle with French Blue ink. Cut close the edges of all the images. Glue the houses and trees as shown. Foam tape the fences, car & and Santa in place. Stamp a snowflake trail in black behind Santa. Apply Liquid Pearl on all of the snow areas of the houses and trees. Also make a “bank” of snow in front of the fences. Apply Stickles to the snowflake trail, and scatter dots all over in the sky.
Stamp “There’s no Place Like Home for the Holidays” in black on a 1 3/8” square of white cardstock. Mat on Warm Flannel brown snowflake paper with 1/16” borders. Foam tape between the houses. Apply Liquid Pearl on the snow areas of “HOME”.
Card inside: Glue a 5½”x4½” Warm Flannel border paper with the border in the bottom right corner. Stamp “Happy Holidays” on a 1¾”x1” white cardstock. Mat on blue cardstock with ¼” borders. Stamp a snowman on the left, and a lamppost on the right. Glue centered. Glue a colored house to the bottom left.
