Ornaments Easel Card
For the card front: Open the card and fold the front in to the center fold. Unfold, then close the card. Place with the fold at the top and trim to 5"x5". Cut 5"x5" black cardstock and glue just to the lower half of the front. Cut 4 7/8"x4 7/8" Christmas Cheer maroon/black paper and glue centered on the black cardstock.
Use the pens to color the 3 ornaments paper, using darker shades of the colors for the shadowed areas. Rub the Silver Ice gelato onto the craft sheet to transfer some gelato to the sheet. Spritz with water and mix with your paintbrush. Paint the mix over the panel background and let dry. Cut out the panel and foam tape to the front so it’s even with the bottom edge.
Cut three 3" ribbons, knot each, and trim the ends. Glue a knotted ribbon to the top of each ornament. Cut out “happy holidays” from the Christmas Cheer sayings paper and mat on maroon cardstock with 1/16" borders. Mat on black cardstock with 1/32" borders, then glue and foam tape to the front at the lower right. Place Dazzles™ as shown.
For the inside: Cut 5"x2½" Christmas Cheer ivory/maroon paper and mat the long edges on maroon cardstock with 1/16" borders. Cut 5"x1" maroon dot paper and glue centered across the ivory/maroon paper. Wrap vertically with ribbon 5/8" from the left end and knot 5/8" from the top. Glue the strip to the inside, ½" from the bottom.
Cut out a 2½"x2" Colorist label and use the pens to color the frame. Use the gelato mix to color the center, then cut the label in half lengthwise. Cut out the “have yourself…” sentiment and mat on maroon cardstock with 1/16" borders. Mat on black cardstock with 1/32" borders, then foam tape over the dot strip, using two layers of foam.
Glue the label halves above and below the sentiment center, tucking the cut edges behind the sentiment. Place Dazzles™ as shown. To display, open the card and tuck the lower edge behind the raised sentiment.
