Circle Pop-Out Die Butterfly Birthday Card
For the card front: Cut 4 5/8"6 1/8" Secret Garden floral corner cardstock, then mat it on green cardstock with 1/8" borders. Wrap ½" white grosgrain ribbon across it, 1" from the bottom, and glue the ends to the back. Tie 4" of the same ribbon onto the first ribbon, 1¼" from the left edge, then trim the ends. Glue the cardstock centered on the card front.
Cut one end off the Secret Garden yellow/green label die-cut, making it 2" long, then glue it to the front in the upper right corner. Foam tape the “happy birthday” label die-cut on it as shown. Use sticky tape to attach the two butterflies shown, then place a Diamond Sparkle on each.
For the inside: Die cut the card once from Secret Garden lavender floral cardstock and once with the die placed on the back of the pink flourish cardstock. Use the bone folder and follow the package instructions to crease on the score lines, making sure the lavender and pink sides are on the inside. Assemble both die cut cards.
Cut a ¼" wide strip from an edge of the butterfly acrylic sheet and cut it to 3½" long. With the lavender card closed, place sticky tape at the center top and center bottom of the window. Attach the acrylic strip to the tape, making sure it extends through the window center.
Remove the two blue matching 2" acrylic butterflies from the sheets and gently fold the wings upward. Use sticky tape to attach one butterfly to each side of the acrylic strip, aligning the designs in the window center.
Glue the window panels of the two cards together, aligning the edges and windows. Place sticky tape on the outer surfaces of the cards. Position the cards on the inside of the large card, centering them on the fold. Attach one side of the die-cut cards, then close the front and press to attach the other side. Open the card and make sure the inner cards pop up.
