Instructions:
1. For the card front: Cut 4¾"x6¼" Bee Happy green/blue border cardstock and mat it on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Cut out and foam tape the “happy birthday to bee-utiful you” label near the upper left corner. Wrap yellow dotted sheer ribbon across the cardstock below the label and glue the ends to the back. Glue the cardstock centered on the front.
2. Make a 4-loop bow with the same ribbon, tying the center with thread. Glue the bow to the first ribbon near the label’s lower right corner. Die cut a small round balloon from lime glitter cardstock and a large round balloon from copper glitter cardstock. Glue and foam tape both near the bow as shown.
3. Tie a thread shoestring bow and glue it to the lime balloon. Die cut a small bee from gold glitter cardstock and foam tape it to the label at the upper left. Place a diamond sparkle on the bee’s body and one in the bow’s center.
4. For the inside: Cut two 4¾"x6" Bee Happy yellow honeycomb cardstocks and glue both to the inside so they meet near the card’s center. Die cut the box and crossbars from solid brown cardstock, then follow the die package directions for attaching it to the inside and gluing the crossbars.
5. Die cut round balloons and stars from the glitter cardstocks. Tie thread bows and attach one to each balloon. Die cut three candles from solid orange cardstock and their flames from gold glitter cardstock. Glue the flames to the candles.
6. Attach the balloons and stars to ¼" wide acetate strips, then attach the die-cuts to the box crossbars and card inside as shown. Die cut three gold glitter stars and glue them to the box flaps. Cut out and glue the “bee happy” label to the inside at the upper left.
