Dearest Friend Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold at the top. Cover the card with Mirage aqua textured paper. Position the Design Tool Bracket Cutaway shape on the card front, aligning the long straight edge with the fold. Trace around the shape with the pencil, then cut along the line, through the card front only. Ink the edges.
Stamp the lacy border image on Mirage yellow textured paper with black ink. Sprinkle a tiny amount of each the Sky Blue and Detail Capri embossing powders over the stamped image. Use the heat gun to apply heat from underneath the paper and emboss. Cut out the image and mat on Mirage black textured paper with 1/16” borders. Cut the border in half and glue one piece to each side of the card, 1 1/2" from the top.
Use the Design Tool Bracket Label A to trace the shape onto Mirage yellow textured paper. Cut out the shape and position it centered on the card for placement of the focal. Use a pencil to lightly mark the upper right and lower left edges of the label shape on the aqua paper. Remove the yellow label. Stamp the small leaves/berries sprig image twice near the upper right corner, and on the lower left corner of the aqua textured paper with black ink, so they will extend beyond the yellow focal as shown.
Stamp the large butterfly image centered on the yellow label with black ink. Stamp “Dearest FRIEND” on the lower right below the butterfly. Place the label on a sheet of scrap paper. Lightly sprinkle the tiny amounts of the Aged Teal embossing enamel, the Sky Blue and Detail Capri embossing powders, the Teal Mica flakes, and the Teal color fragments over the stamped images. Apply the heat gun from underneath the paper to emboss and set the mica flakes and color fragments. Mat on Mirage black textured paper with 1/16” borders. Foam tape centered on the card, overlapping the border pieces and stems of the stamped sprigs.
Stamp two 1” butterflies, two side-view butterflies, and one tiny butterfly image on Mirage yellow textured paper with black ink. Sprinkle each image with Sky Blue and Detail Capri embossing powders and emboss from underneath the paper as before. Cut the images out. Glue a 1” butterfly and a side-view butterfly on the edges of the yellow label as shown. Reserve remaining images for the inside. Use 3/4" wide aqua crepe ribbon to tie a bow. Trim the tails into a “V” and Zot on the lower left edge of the label as shown. Add Gold Jewel Dazzles™.
Inside: Cover the card with Mirage blue/yellow tiles paper and ink the edges black. Use the Design Tool Squared Oval to trace the shape on Mirage aqua textured paper. Mat on Mirage black textured paper with 1/16” borders. Stamp a small leaves/berries sprig image across the bottom of the shape, with the berries on the left side. Glue centered on the card. Use the Design Tool Tiny Tag to trace the shape onto Mirage yellow textured paper. Cut out the tag, then stamp “Just for YOU” above center on the tag. Place the tag on scrap paper and sprinkle the image with a tiny amount of Sky blue embossing powder. Emboss by applying heat underneath the paper. Mat the tag on Mirage black textured paper with 1/16” borders. Glue on the right side of the squared oval shape, overlapping the stem of the sprig image. Glue remaining butterfly image cut-outs as shown. Zot™ knotted ribbon in place. Add Gold Jewel Dazzles™.
Scrap paper
Stamp the lacy border image on Mirage yellow textured paper with black ink. Sprinkle a tiny amount of each the Sky Blue and Detail Capri embossing powders over the stamped image. Use the heat gun to apply heat from underneath the paper and emboss. Cut out the image and mat on Mirage black textured paper with 1/16” borders. Cut the border in half and glue one piece to each side of the card, 1 1/2" from the top.

Glue a 1” butterfly and a side-view butterfly on the edges of the yellow label as shown. Reserve remaining images for the inside. Use 3/4" wide aqua crepe ribbon to tie a bow. Trim the tails into a “V” and Zot on the lower left edge of the label as shown. Add Gold Jewel Dazzles™.
Inside: Cover the card with Mirage blue/yellow tiles paper and ink the edges black. Use the Design Tool Squared Oval to trace the shape on Mirage aqua textured paper. Mat on Mirage black textured paper with 1/16” borders. Stamp a small leaves/berries sprig image across the bottom of the shape, with the berries on the left side. Glue centered on the card. Use the Design Tool Tiny Tag to trace the shape onto Mirage yellow textured paper. Cut out the tag, then stamp “Just for YOU” above center on the tag. Place the tag on scrap paper and sprinkle the image with a tiny amount of Sky blue embossing powder. Emboss by applying heat underneath the paper. Mat the tag on Mirage black textured paper with 1/16” borders. Glue on the right side of the squared oval shape, overlapping the stem of the sprig image. Glue remaining butterfly image cut-outs as shown. Zot™ knotted ribbon in place. Add Gold Jewel Dazzles™.
