Sparkling Dove Christmas Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Cut 6 3/8"x4 7/8" Winter’s Garden blue snowflakes paper and glue it centered on the card front. Cut 3 1/8"x3 1/8" Winter’s Garden tan striped paper and mat on white cardstock with 1/16" wide borders. Glue to the front, 3/8" from the top and 1 1/8" from the left edge.
Cut 6 3/8"x1 1/8" Winter’s Garden corner paper with swirls on the left end. Mat the long edges of the paper on white cardstock with 1/16" wide borders, then glue to the snowflakes paper, 3/8" from the bottom.
Die cut the dove from craft foam, then use the repositionable adhesive to secure the pieces to the stamping block positioned so the dove flies to the right when stamped. Stamp the dove on the tan paper.
Die cut the dove from craft foam again and glue the foam dove outline over the stamped dove as shown. Cover the stamped dove with clear sparkle, then, when dry, dot an eye in place with the black pen. Die cut the small swirl from white cardstock and glue behind the dove. Place “joy to you” Dazzles™ across the blue strip near the upper edge as shown.
For the inside: Cut 6½"x4" Winter’s Garden tan striped paper and mat the long edges on teal cardstock with 1/16" borders. Place “merry christmas” Dazzles™ across the paper just above the lower edge as shown. Glue the paper centered across the inside.
Cut 6 3/8"x1 1/8" Winter’s Garden corner paper with swirls on the left end. Mat the long edges of the paper on white cardstock with 1/16" wide borders, then glue to the snowflakes paper, 3/8" from the bottom.
