Christmas Tree Easel Card
For the card front: Open the card and fold the front so the outer edge aligns with the center fold. Unfold the front, close the card, and place it with the center fold at the top. Cut two 6½"x2½" Gold papers and glue one to each front section.
Cut two 6 3/8"x2 3/8" Christmas Wonder green houndstooth paper. Glue one centered on the lower gold section. Wrap a 7" gold ribbon across the remaining green paper, ¼" from the top, and glue the ends to the back. Wrap a 7" gingham ribbon 1/8" below the first ribbon and glue the ends to the back. Glue the paper centered on the upper gold section.
Tie the remaining gold ribbon onto the first gold ribbon, 7/8" from the left card edge. Tie the remaining gingham ribbon to the first gingham ribbon, 1¼" from the left card edge. Trim the ribbon ends. Place a border Dazzles™ across the lower front, ¼" from the bottom.
Cut the “joy&rdquo,; tree, and 1" star off the Foiled Fancies sheet, then cut off the connectors. Stamp the holly design across the tree and “joy,” then sand all the foiled pieces until the raised designs are silver.
Foam tape the star to the tree top. Glue the lower half of the tree to the front near the left edge, then foam tape the greeting as shown. Place the remaining snowflake and jewel Dazzles™ on the front as shown.
For the inside: Cut 6¼"x4¾" Christmas Wonder dotted paper with the houndstooth border along the bottom and mat on Gold paper with 1/16" borders. Glue centered on the inside.
Cut “Merry” and “Christmas” Foiled Fancies off the sheet, then cut off the connectors. Stamp the holly as shown, then sand both pieces. Glue “Christmas” near the lower edge and foam tape “merry” just above it. Place the snowflake and jewel Dazzles™ as shown. To display, open the card and tuck the lower front behind “Merry.”
