Holiday Greetings Wreath Card
For the card front: Trim the card to 5"x5", then place it with the fold at the top. Cut 4 7/8"x4 7/8" Red Velvet red/black striped paper and 4 7/8"x3½" green houndstooth paper. Mat the long edges of the green paper on green cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue it across the center of the striped paper.
Cut 4 7/8"x1¼" Red Velvet tan tapestry paper and glue it across the green paper, ½" from the bottom. Stamp “holiday greetings” on the right end with Evergreen ink. Place border Dazzles™ along the upper and lower edges of the tan paper, trimming the excess. Glue the striped paper centered on the card front.
Cut 3 1/8"x3 1/8" ivory cardstock and follow the directions above to place it in the MISTI, position the pine wreath stamp in the cardstock center and attach the stamp to the lid. Ink the stamp with Seaweed and stamp it onto the paper.
Leaving the stamp in place, clean it with a baby wipe. Ink just the inner wreath sprigs with Evergreen and stamp onto the first image. Remove the paper and let it dry. Squeeze Ruby Slippers glitter dot berries evenly around the wreath, then let the berries dry completely. Mat the wreath on green cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue it to the front near the left edge.
Cut 2"x4" ivory cardstock and place it in the MISTI. Position the bow stamp’s second layer stamp on the paper, pick it up with the lid, and ink the stamp with Scarlet. Stamp the image. Remove the stamp, then position the third layer bow stamp on the stamped bow. Attach it to the lid, ink it with Merlot, and stamp the image. Remove the paper and let the inks dry.
Repeat step 5, but stamping the ¾" pinecone. Use Cocoa ink on the second layer stamp and Brown ink on the third layer stamp. Repeat for a second pine cone, then remove the paper and let the inks dry completely. Cut out the bow and pinecones and foam tape them to the wreath as shown.
For the inside: Cut 4"x4" Red Velvet red/black dotted paper and mat it on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue it to the inside, ¼" from the right edge. Cut 5"x1 3/8" Red Velvet green canvas paper and mat the long edges on green cardstock with 1/16" borders.
Stamp “deck the halls with love” on the left end of the green strip with Evergreen ink. Place a border Dazzles™ near each long edge, trimming the excess, then glue the strip across the inside center.
