Magical Season Side-Step Card
For the card front: Trace the card front paper pattern (in the card packaging) from Christmas Cheer green dotted paper. Cut 5 7/8"x¾" Christmas Cheer green tiles paper and mat the long edges on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue it across the bottom section of the dotted paper, then glue the dotted paper centered on the front panel.
Trace and cut the center panel paper pattern from Christmas Cheer ivory tiles paper and the back panel paper pattern from maroon tapestry paper. Glue each centered on the appropriate panel. Place border Dazzles™ near the lower edge of the green tiles strip, trimming the excess.
Place the tree, three ornaments, and a large holly Dazzles™ on the craft sheet. Color the tree with the JG6 pen, omitting the star and trunk. Color the holly leaves and pine branches with JG6 and the berries with DR5. Color the ornaments with DR5.
Place the tree on Christmas Cheer ivory tapestry paper and trim it to 2½"x3¼". Place the ornaments on the tree as shown and small star Dazzles™ around the tree’s star. Mat it on green cardstock with 1/16" borders, then on black cardstock with very narrow borders. Foam tape the tree to the front panel, extending ¼" beyond the upper right edge.
Place the colored holly Dazzles™ on Christmas Cheer green dotted paper and trim it to 2¼"x2". Mat it on black cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue it to the back step, extending 1 1/8" above the upper edge. Place “magical season” Dazzles™ on Christmas Cheer maroon dotted paper and trim it to 1 7/8"x1¼". Mat it on black cardstock with 1/16" borders, then glue it to the center step as shown.
For the inside: Cut 6"x2¾" Christmas Cheer maroon dotted paper and mat the long edges on black cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue it to the inside, aligning the lower edges. Color the wreath Dazzles™ with EB5 and its bow with DR5. Color “Merry Christmas” Dazzles™ with DR7.
