Noel Tag Card
Card front: Place your card with the fold at the top and cover with Vintage Christmas red paper. Mat 4 ½”x6” brown poinsettia paper with ivory cardstock, leaving 1/16” border. Ink edges brown and glue to the card front.
Technique: Embossed tag: Use the stylus to apply Rusty Hinge ink and brown on the glossy side of the white tag. Place the tag, inked side up, on the right side of the embossing folder. Emboss with your machine, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Remove the tag from the folder and, using the stylus and pad, apply brown ink to the embossed words.
Cut two 1½”x1” from red swirl and one green Vintage Christmas. Cut a “V” in one end of each and ink edges brown. Glue to extend from the right edge of the tag. Glue the tag to the left side of the card as shown. Use a length of ½” wide Vintage Christmas brown swirl ribbon to make a bow and Zot to the top of the tag. Use the folder to emboss red cardstock and cut out “Noel” and “Holly Jolly”. Use the stylus to apply brown ink to the cardstock surface and apply gold to the edges. Apply gold ink to the petals of large Antique Gold blossom. Zot the gold and 2 small red blossoms to the card as shown. Foam tape “Noel” to the left.
Inside: Foam tape the “Holly Jolly” embossed red cardstock to Vintage Christmas green paper, leaving a ½” border. Ink edges brown and glue near the top of the card. Zot a small red flower as shown.
