Christmas Embossed Card
Card front: Cut your card to 6”x5”. Place your card with the fold on top.
TECHNIQUE: Emboss colored strips of paper. Cut three 7/8”x4¾" red cardstock, and three 7/8”x4¾" green cardstock. Notch one end into a “V”. Cut a 5 7/8”x4 7/8” white cardstock. Glue the red and green cardstock strips across the white cardstock, alternating colors. Emboss with the Christmas Words embossing folder. Mat on a 6”x5” black cardstock. Wrap a white/black swirls ribbon across the whole card, and glue to the card front. Emboss the word “Christmas” on red cardstock. Ink the raised parts with black ink. Cut close to the word. Mat on a 6”x1¼” black cardstock. Foam tape to the card front, just above the ribbon.
Card inside: Glue a 6”x1¼” black cardstock across the card middle. Emboss the word “Cheer” on red cardstock. Ink with black ink, and cut close to the word. Glue to a 5½”x3/4” red cardstock with one notched end. Tie a white with black swirls ribbon on the left end. Glue to the black cardstock.
