Gingerbread Cookies Cutaway Christmas Card
For the card front: Open the card and cut 1" off the outer front edge. Close the card and turn with the fold at the top. Cut 6½"x4" Merry & Bright border paper and glue to the front with the border at the bottom. Cut out the “spread Christmas cheer…” tag and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Punch out the Merry & Bright die cuts shown and remove the nibs.
Stamp the gingerbread man three times on cardstock. Cover with embossing powder, tap off the excess, and heat to melt. Cut each out with a 1/16" border around the edges and set one aside. Trim the border die cut to 6½" and glue to extend below the lower front edge.
Glue the large green label die cut centered ¼" from the upper edge and the flower cluster in the upper left corner. Insert the brad in the tag top, flatten the prongs, then glue it overlapping the label at the lower right. Glue one gingerbread man to the label, angled left and foam tape the second overlapping the tag. Foam tape the 1 1/8" flower die cut and place Dazzles™ as shown.
For the inside: Cut 4½"x4½" Merry & Bright red paper and mat on cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue centered on the inside. Cut 6½"x1" Merry & Bright striped paper and glue along the lower edge.
Punch out the Merry & Bright die cuts shown and remove the nibs. Glue the label to the red paper center. Cut out the “sweet holiday wishes” and “may your Christmas…” sentiments. Glue the sentiments, foam tape the remaining gingerbread man and 1 1/8" flower die cut, and place Dazzles™ as shown.
