STEP #1 BACKGROUND - Left page: Place the quilted border paper with the border along the left. Glue a 4”x12” blue paper to the right side of the page. Glue a 2”x12” green paper 3 1/2” from the right side. Glue a 1”x12” orange paper 4” from the right side.
Right page: Place the quilted border paper with the border along the right. Glue a 3 1/2”x12” blue paper to the left side. Glue a 2”x12” green paper 3” from the left side. Glue a 1”x12” orange paper 3 1/2” from the left side.
STEP #2 PHOTOS: Mat all three photos on cream cardstock with 1/8” borders.
Left page: Glue a 6”x4” photo to the page 1 3/8” from the top and 4 3/8” from the left side. Cut your 6”x4” photo 4 1/4” from the left side of the photo and glue to the right side of the page 1” from the bottom edge.
Right page: Glue the remaining portion of the photo to the left side 1” from the bottom edge. Glue a 4”x6” photo 1 3/8” from the right side and 3 3/8” from the bottom leaving the top 1” unglued.
TECHNIQUE - HANGING PHOTO: Zot™ a 7 1/4” brown twill to the right side of the right page 2 1/8” from the top edge and tucking the left end under the green paper. Clip the unglued portion of the photo to the ribbon using one of the wooden clothespins. Thread two 4 1/2” of baker’s twine through two buttons and tie in a bow. Zot™ the buttons to the ribbon 1/4” from the photo.
STEP #3 JOURNALING: Write or computer print your journaling on 3/8” strips of cream cardstock. Mat on orange patterned paper with 1/16” borders. Foam tape to the page as shown, trimming between words as necessary. Thread a button with baker’s twine, tie in a bow and Zot™ to the beginning of your journaling. Thread the button die-cut with baker’s twine, tie in a bow and Zot™ to the end of your journaling.
TECHNIQUE - PRINTING ON DIE-CUTS: Left page: Write or computer print your title on the jar die-cut and foam tape to the page 5/8” from the top edge and 3” from the left side.
Right page: Write or computer print “Love” on the green banner die-cut and clip to the right portion of the photo with a wooden clothespin as shown. Write or computer print the date on the blue/green label and glue to the bottom of the 4”x6” photo.
TECHNIQUE - STAMPING WITH RIBBON: Ink up a 1 1/4” piece of twill ribbon with Brown ink and stamp along the bottom of the rectangular Scalloped Wood Tag 1/8” from the bottom.
TECHNIQUE - HANGING TAGS: Zot™ a 6 3/4” brown twill to the left side of the left page 3 3/8” from the bottom edge. Tuck the right end underneath the green paper. With the last wooden clothespin, clip the blue tag die-cut and the small apple die-cut to the center of the twill. Tie a bow with a 7” baker’s twine and Zot™ to the top of the rectangular wooden tag and Zot™ to the ribbon as shown. Tie a bow with a 5 1/2” baker’s twine and Zot™ to the top of the Scalloped Oval Wooden Tag and Zot™ to the ribbon as shown.
STEP #4 EMBELLISHING - Left page: Foam tape the apple slice die-cut to the lower left corner of the lower photo as shown. Foam tape the small cream flower die-cut to the apple slice die-cut as shown. Thread two small buttons with baker’s twine and Zot™ to each of the wooden tags as shown. Foam tape the tan small flower die-cut to the half apple die-cut as shown.
Right page: Foam tape the larger half apple die-cut to the lower right corner of the photo as shown. Foam tape the larger cream lower die-cut to the apple die-cut as shown.
