Snow Globe Card
Cut the card to 5” square and place the fold at the top. Cover with black Christmas Chalkboard Paper and ink edges of 4 ½” square of green diamond Christmas Chalkboard Paper. Ink edges of 5”x1 1/4" burgundy Christmas Chalkboard Paper and glue across the card center.
Globe: Stamp Janie’s Snow Friends Stamp penguin image on watercolor paper and die cut with 3 ¼” wide 4 Circles & 4 Scallop Cutting Die and ink edges. Color the penguin body with 199 black watercolor pencil and use included paintbrush and water to blend color. Color feet, star, beak and a few light bulbs with 108 yellow. Color sweater trim and hat 168 green and the sweater 126 red. Use watered down red to color cheeks pink. Use watered down 144 blue to color area around stamped image light blue. Let dry.
Base: Ink edges of 3 ½”x1/2” ivory Christmas Chalkboard Paper and glue across the center of 3 ½”x1” black Christmas Chalkboard Paper. Trim paper ends at and angle so the paper is 2 3/8” at the top and 3 ½” at the bottom. Ink edges and stamp “Season’s Greetings” Janie’s Snow Friends Stamp on the center of ivory strip. Place a dot of silver glitter glue on each side of greeting and tiny dots on the globe as shown. Let dry. Glue the base to the bottom of the globe and wrap a length of lime twine around the top of the base and tie a bow. Foam tape the snow globe to the card front.
Inside: Stamp 1 ¼”x2 ¼” ivory Christmas Chalkboard Paper with “A very Merry…” Janie’s Snow Friends Stamp and tiny candy cane stamp as shown. Ink edges and color candy cane with both 126 red and 168 green watercolor pencils and use a paintbrush and water to blend. Mat ivory rectangle with green diamond Christmas Chalkboard Paper, leaving ½” border and ink edges. Glue to the card center and add dots of silver glitter glue to corners as shown.
