For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top and trim to 5"x5". Cut 4¾"x4¾" Christmas Cheer red/black paper and 4"x4" Christmas Cheer red dotted paper. Mat the dotted paper on white cardstock with 1/32" borders, then glue centered on the red/black paper. Wrap ribbon over the papers, 7/8" from the left edge and glue the ends to the back. Glue the paper centered on the front.
Trace and cut the circle pattern from white cardstock and from acetate. Stamp the penguin on the cardstock with Tuxedo Black and snowflakes around him with Periwinkle. Color the penguin with pens, using IG6 for his body, DG2 for his hat, and TB3 and TB5 for his sweater. Color his Beak with GB8, the star with CT4, and the lights with DR1, DG2, and DG3. For the ground, make horizontal strokes with TB2, then soften the edges with the blender pen.
Trace and cut the snow globe base from Christmas Cheer black paper, then glue it and the penguin circle centered on the dotted paper. Die cut a circle frame from maroon cardstock using the 2½" and 3¼" circle dies. Glue the acetate circle to the back of the frame.
Add two layers of foam tape around the frame back, covering all the inside edges so the sequins won’t fall out. Place a teaspoon of sequins in the center of the circle, and attach the frame over them. Open the prongs of a red ½" brad. Make a 4-loop bow and insert between the brad prongs. Secure the prongs, and then glue the bow to the first ribbon at the lower left.
Trace and cut rectangular label C from white cardstock and stamp “good tidings” on it with Tuxedo Black. Mat on maroon cardstock with 1/32" borders, then foam tape to the lower right.
For the inside: Cut 5"x1¼" Christmas Cheer red/black paper and glue across the center. Cut 3½"x3½" Christmas Cheer red dotted paper and mat on Christmas Cheer black paper with 1/32" borders. Stamp the penguin at the lower left and snowflakes across the upper area, all with Tuxedo black. Flatten the prongs on the sentiment’s brad, and then glue to the upper right.
