Angel Christmas Card
From the CD, copy and size one frame to 2½"x1 7/8" and a second frame to 3¼"x2 3/8". Print onto Christmas gold paper. Copy and size “joy to you” phrase to fit the smaller frame and print in place. Copy, size, and print “peace in every season” phrase in the larger frame. Cut the smaller phrase to 2¾"x2" and mat on cardstock with 1/32" borders. Cut the larger phrase to 3 3/8"x2 5/8".
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Cut Christmas green squares paper to cover the front. Cut 1 7/8"x5" Christmas red/green dots paper and mat the right long edge on Christmas burgundy textured paper with a 1/8" border. Glue to the green paper, aligning the left edges. Glue ribbon across the paper, 1¼" from the lower edge, gluing the ends on the back. Glue the paper to the card.
Glue the burgundy/green tag over the ribbon and the 3¾" green/ivory tag overlapping it upside down as shown. Stamp the angel in maroon on the vertical tag. Stamp her again in watermark ink on cardstock and sprinkle embossing powder on the ink. Tap off the excess and heat to melt. Cut out the angel and color her robe, wings, and halo with illuminate Smooch. Foam tape over the first angel. Cut out the Christmas 1½" dark green tag and stamp “rejoice” in maroon on it. Mat on Christmas burgundy textured paper, then foam tape as shown. Knot a 3" ribbon and glue over the tag hole and place Dazzles™ as shown.
For the inside: Cut 6"x4 5/8" red/green dots paper with the borders as shown and glue to the inside. Stamp the angel in maroon on cardstock, then color her skin and halo with pencils. Color her robe with lime and book with molasses Smooch. Trim to 1¾"x2 7/8" and mat on Christmas green squares paper with 1/8" borders. Glue near the upper left, then glue the burgundy phrase at the lower right. Place Dazzles™ as shown.
