Stocking Pocket Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left. Cover the front with the red/green paisley border paper, positioning the paisley along the fold as shown. Ink the edges.
Trace and cut the stocking pocket from red/green/ivory striped paper. Fold the pocket but don’t glue yet. Trace and cut the stocking shape onto green paisley paper and cut out. Ink the edges, then glue to cover the stocking front, under the pocket. Cut the cuff, toe, and heel from ivory/green/red plaid paper, ink the edges and glue to the stocking.
Glue the pocket flaps in place, ink the pocket edges, and glue to the card front, angled as shown. Cut out “Happy Christmas” ribbon word art and glue across the front. Trace and cut a gold cardstock teddy bear and draw the face and stitches on it. Cut out “holiday fun” acetate art and use vellum adhesive to attach it to the bear. Tuck the bear into the pocket.
For the inside: Print the sentiment in green on white and trim to 3½"x2 1/8". Mat on red cardstock with 1/16" borders. Mat again on plaid paper with ¼" borders. Ink the edges and glue near the right card edge. Cut out the “celebration” definition and glue above the sentiment. Cut out the heart acetate art and mat on dark green cardstock with 1/16" borders. Ink the edges and glue at the lower right.
