Tree Pocket Christmas Card
For the card front: Turn the card with the fold on the left and cover the front with the green/burgundy dots paper, positioning the borders as shown. Ink the edges. Trace and cut out the tree pocket from green linen textured paper. Trace the tree section onto green stitches paper and cut out. Glue over the tree section and fold the pocket over the front. Make all the folds and ink the exposed edges. Glue the flaps then glue the tree pocket to the card. Cut out a star and glue to the top.
Cut out the slide mount and “holidays” art. Glue the slide mount and foam tape “holidays” as shown. Stamp “Happy” onto the slide mount. Cut out a burgundy star square and the “Merry & Bright” word art. Glue to the pocket as shown. Squeeze glitter glue in a scallop pattern along the tree's lower edge, the pocket edge, and on the upper tree section. Squeeze a glitter dot onto each star. Let dry completely.
For the tag: Cut out the “Christmas” definition art and ink the edges. Cut two 1½" long strips of the stitched burgundy paper and glue to extend from behind the definition upper edge. Cut each end in a “V.” Mat the definition on dark green cardstock. Tuck into the pocket.
For the inside: Cut a 3½" square of green stitched paper, ink the edges and mat on burgundy textured paper. Ink the edges and glue to the inside. Cut out the trees tag, a burgundy star square, and “Happy Christmas” word art. Ink all the edges. Mat the word art on burgundy textured paper and ink the edges. Glue the pieces to the stitches square as shown. Add a glitter dot to each end of the word art and to the star. Let dry completely before closing the card.
