Christmas Kids Card
Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top. Cover with Christmas Sweets beige dot paper. Glue a 6 ¼”x2” Christmas Sweets brown pattern paper 1/8” from the bottom, Glue a 6 ¼”x2” Christmas Sweets green dot to the top, 1/8” from the fold. Glue a brown dot ribbon in between. Place a small Red Jewel Dotted Border Dazzles™ on the top and bottom of the ribbon.
Cut a 4½”x4 ¼” Christmas Sweets tan circle paper. Use the Easy Circles Template to round off the top. Mat on Christmas Sweets red patterned paper leaving 1/8” borders. Stamp the Manger kids in black on the center. Stamp several stars above the kids. Color with watercolor pencils as follows: girl’s hair & stars 111 &108, bow, coat, hat, dress stripes 133, wrap, dress stripes, robe trim, sock, dog hat 140, chair, staff 176, dog 183 & 187, boy shoes 199, cheeks 131. Add stickles to some stars. Stamp 2 extra stars, color and cut out. Foam tape to either side of the manger scene on the ribbons. Stamp Christ is Born cut about ¼” away from the words, and mat on Christmas Sweets red paper. Foam tape to the stars.
Card inside: Ink the edges of a 5”x4” Christmas Sweets brown dot paper. Stamp a holly sprig in each corner. Color with watercolor pencils 166. Place 3 small red Jewel Dazzles™ on each set of berries. Glue centered. Stamp Merry Christmas and two stars on a 5”x1” Christmas Sweets brown dot paper. Color the stars 111, and mat on Christmas Sweets green dot paper with 1/8” borders along the long edges. Add a small Red Jewel Dazzles™ to each star. Foam tape to the middle. Place a Red Jewel Border Dazzles™ on each side of the sentiment. Stamp the manger scene again and color and cut out just the dog. Foam tape to the bottom of the sentiment.
