Best Friend
Place the folded Side Step die-cut card with the main fold at the top. Use the Front Side paper pattern to trace the shape onto Pretty Posies tan circles paper. Cut it out. Cover the bottom section across the entire piece with Pretty Posies green/tan/blue circles and flowers paper, trimming edges evenly with the shape. Cut a 2 3/4"x1/4” Pretty Posies green circles paper and glue it across the left side of the shape, even with the top edge of the green/tan/blue circles and flowers paper. Trim sides evenly with the shape. Glue the piece centered on the card front.
Use the Front Riser paper pattern to trace the shape onto blue tiny flowers paper. Cut it out. Cut a 3”x1/4” green circles paper and mat the long sides on Pretty Posies tan circles paper with 1/16” borders. Glue across the blue front riser shape, 1/4” from the bottom. Trim the sides evenly with the shape. Glue centered on the front riser, on the right side of the card. Repeat this process for the Back Riser, using Pretty Posies green/tan/blue circles and flowers paper for the shape. Cut a 3”x1/4” Pretty Posies blue tiny flowers paper and mat it on Pretty Posies tan circles paper with 1/16” borders. Glue across the shape, 1/2" from the bottom. Trim sides evenly.
Use your knife to cut individual strips of sky blue and lime green rhinestones and add to the paper edges on the card front and risers as shown. For the large butterfly clear acrylic die-cut, place a single strip of 7 sky blue rhinestones vertically on the body of the butterfly. Turn the piece over and trim away the excess from the edges of the body with your knife. Add a section of lime green rhinestones to cover the wings on each side, then turn the piece over and trim even with the edges as for the body. Repeat with the same colors for 1 small butterfly, then do 2 more small butterflies each with a lime green body and sky blue wings. Foam tape the large lime green butterfly angled on the card front, near the top left. Foam tape 1 small sky blue butterfly below and right of the large one, and the remaining blue butterfly on the back riser as shown.
Place Family & Friends Dazzles™ “BFF” on the left side of the card near the butterflies. Place “Best Friend” on the front riser, centered near the top. Use the 3/8” wide lime/blue gingham ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow near the center of the card front as shown.
Inside: Use the “Inside” paper pattern to trace the shape onto Pretty Posies green/tan/blue circles and flowers paper. Cut it out. Cut a 3”x1/2” Pretty Posies green circles paper and mat the long sides on Pretty Posies tan circles paper with 1/16” borders. Glue across the left side of the shape, 3/4" from the top. Trim sides evenly. Glue centered on the inside. Add strips of sky blue rhinestones across the shape, even with the edges of the Pretty Posies tan circles paper as shown.
Cover the long scalloped label clear acrylic die-cut with Pretty Posies tan circles paper. Trim the edges evenly with the shape. Mat on Pretty Posies blue tiny flowers paper with 1/16” borders. Glue centered on the bottom of the card. Glue the remaining lime green butterfly angled on the left side of the label. Add sky blue strips on the ends of the label, trimming the edges to fit the shape. Place Dazzles™ “Together We Make A Family” on the right side of the label. Zot™ knotted gingham ribbon as shown.
