1. Lay the card out flat. Score on each end 2 ½” from the outside. Bring the folds to meet at the center forming a gatefold card. Cut two 2”x6” pink papers. Mat each on green Seafoam & Pearls Solid. Glue one to each gate leaving a white card border. Place gold Thin Line Dazzles™ along the green borders.
2. Cathy used three vellum die-cuts. She removed the backing and placed a large flower on the left gate and two smaller flowers at the top and bottom of the right gate. She cut out the koala bears and two flowers sprigs then glued them as shown.
3. Inside: She cut two 2”x6” pink gingham papers, matted them on green Seafoam then glued them to the inside gates. She foam taped bird cutouts on the printed flowers. She placed gold Thin Line Dazzles™ on the green borders. She glued “Best Day Ever” and “with Love” on each gate then placed gold Thin Line Dazzles™ around them.
4. She matted 4 ½”x6” tan/floral paper on green Seafoam and glued it in the card center area. She placed gold Thin Line Dazzles™ over the green border.
5. She cutout the images shown and foam taped them in place. She glued “happy birthday” at the top and placed gold Thin Line Dazzles™ around it.
From Cathy: I hope the fence used in the center gives the illusion of the kangaroos jumping.
