Twisting Pop-Up Celebrating You Card

Instructions:

1. For the card front: Cut 6¼"x4¾" Poppies pale yellow striped cardstock and glue it centered on the card front. Cut 3½"x2⅞" pale yellow swirls cardstock and mat it on Mirri with ⅛" borders. Glue it to the front, ⅞" from the right edge. Cut 1¼"x4¾" dark yellow swirls cardstock and mat the long edges on Mirri with ⅛" borders. Glue it to the front, 1⅛" from the left edge.

2. Place black fancy border Dazzles™ on the strip near the left edge, trimming the excess. Cut out the “celebrating you” cutout and mat it on Mirri with very narrow borders. Die cut meadow blooms from Mirri, then glue the greeting and the blooms to the front as shown, trimming the stems as needed.

3. For the inside: Cut two 6"x4¾" Poppies pink striped cardstocks. Glue the cardstock with flowers to the inside upper panel, aligning the lower edge with the center fold. Glue the plain striped cardstock to the lower panel, aligning the upper edge with the fold. 

4. Cut two 6"x¾" Poppies pale yellow swirls cardstocks and mat the long edges of both on Mirri with ⅛" borders. Place black fancy border Dazzles™ on each, trimming the excess, then glue one to each inside panel, ½" from the outer edges as shown.

5. Die cut the pop-up mechanism from orange cardstock and the pop-up from pale yellow swirls cardstock. Ink the edges of the pop-up with Mustard, then follow the die package directions to construct the pop-up. 

6. Die cut both labels twice from Poppies dark yellow swirls cardstock and ink the edges with Mustard. Die cut more meadow blooms from Mirri, then glue them to the labels, trimming the stems as needed. Place black word Dazzles™ on each label as shown, then glue the labels to the pop-up panels.

7. Cut out the “happy birthday” cutout and mat it on Mirri with very narrow borders. Glue it above the lower border. Glue more meadow blooms to the inside at the lower right and upper left as shown, trimming the stems as needed.
